Equestrian Groups in Shetland
Interest in horses and ponies in Shetland is stronger than ever. There are several voluntary groups set up to provide riding lessons in various communities and there are other groups set up which cover the different aspects of equestrianism throughout Shetland.

Clickimin Open Riding Club
Based in Lerwick. Providing riding lessons throughout the summer.
Based in Dunrossness. Providing riding lessons for children all year round.
Based in Burra. Providing riding lessons throughout the summer.
Representing Shetland pony breeders throughout the islands.

Annual show.
Shetland Pony Riding & Driving Group
Taking children and Shetland ponies to events throughout the UK.
Affiliated to British Riding Clubs. Regularly organises instruction, events and other activities.
